Product Update - Sept 1, 2026

Main changes and bug fixes done in our software on Sept 1st for AUS/NZ and Sept 8 for US/Dublin

Improvements

  1. New colour scheme
    • We continue updating the color scheme to include a white background that makes pages more readable and accessible:
    • Notes, Transfer, Deceased Animal, Privately Rehome, and Owner History options on the Animal Details menu.
  2. Person Actions included in the New Navigation
      • We have added person actions on the New Navigation, now you can access actions using the person profile or using the search page.

Bug Fixes

  1. Bite Report date fields
    • Fixed an issue on the Biting/Scratching Animal Information screen where blank date fields displayed as "1/1/1900" instead of staying blank, which could also carry through to the printed Bite Report.
  2. Active Licenses report (Report 383)
    • Fixed an issue where the state dropdown disappeared immediately after loading, making it impossible to select a state.
  3.  Saving bite records
    • Fixed an error that could occur when saving a bite record if certain text fields contained values the system couldn't process correctly.
  4.  Emergency Boarding / animal release
    • Fixed an error that could occur when processing certain animals through Emergency Boarding or when releasing an animal to its owner.
  5.  Receipt retrieval
    •  Fixed an error that could occur when retrieving certain receipt records.
  6. Animal Notes category dropdown
    •  Fixed an issue where the category dropdown on Animal Notes could fail to load with an authentication error.
  7.  Animal transfers
    •  Fixed an error that could prevent an animal transfer from completing successfully in some cases.
  8. Animal Notes with special characters
    • Fixed an issue where saving an Animal Note containing angle brackets (like < >) would cause an error.
  9. Animal search navigation
    •  Fixed a navigation issue where a button on the Animal search page could lead to a page that no longer exists.
