Update Webhook subscription URIs

If your site uses webhooks, Shelter Buddy's engineers need to set them up initially. However, once they have been created, you can update them locally if they need to change. 

This feature helps you maintain your own webhook tickets, saving you time!

To update/correct your webhooks:

  1. Navigate to the Administration menu.
  2. Use the Search feature to search for "web" or "webhook".
  3. When the Webhook Subscribers link shows, click to open it.
  4. The landing page will show you existing webhooks.
  5. Click the blue number on the left to open the edit page.
  6. The text field containing the existing option will open. 
  7. Make the change to the webhook URI as required.
    1. NOTE: the address must be set up as (e.g.) "https://pagenameinformation.targetsite.net/". 
    2. You cannot set up a pathname (e.g. /pagename/sync/thing)
    3. The final forward slash is not strictly required
  8. You can change all or part of the web address. 
  9. Click [Save] to finish
  10. Your webhook subscription URI has now been updated!
